Pilate's Key and Pilate's Ghost were named semi-finalists for Best Mystery/Thriller for the (2012 and 2013, respectively) Kindle Book Review Awards. Alex also writes short stories, including the award-winning Obsidian and most recently, A Debt of Fire. In 2012, Alex authored the bestselling crowdfunding ebook Kickstarter Success Secrets. It is also available as an audiobook.

His novels are available worldwide wherever ebooks are sold (see links below for links to your country). Alex has worked as a public relations and marketing professional for more than 24 years--primarily in the broadcasting, healthcare and higher education sectors. Previously, he worked as a newspaper editor/journalist, radio talk show host and vice president of Kansas City Public Television.
